Security: Market Leaders calls for enforcement.

The Leadership of Mile 12 International Market have called on the Lagos state government and the Task force agency  to come to their aid as street traders have continued to  taking over the pedestrian bridge in the environment along Ikorodu road.

The re elected chairman of Mile 12 International Market, Alhaji shehu Usman  stated it while fielding question from journalist during the opening of Hajiya Salamatu Mai Lullubi mosques , that is dedicated to his mother in the community , according to him 

” We have used our task force to clear the people using the pedestrian bridge to sell their wares but they will still converged  on the bridge to sell ” .

Alhaji Usman also called on the state security agency to deployed men that will assist in the implementation of the law , although we have had several discussion with the government which we are looking forward for a better re enforcement that will be granted after May 29, he said .

In his re election, Alhaji Usman expressed concerned on securing the market , which he described as a top priority on customers and traders in transacting business without fear of robbery or harassment, he also  recalled his achievement on the rebuilding of the market structure and place security apparatus that have also  placed the market on the standard mega city Lagos is rising toward .
