The Ogun State Government remain determined towards deploying peace building mechanism to strengthen healthy and productive relationship among Herders, Farmers and Host Communities in Ogun State.
The Special Assistant to Ogun State Government Hon Hadi Sani, led a delegation to the Imala Police division to converge all the Fulani herdmen heads and Baales of host communities to settle existing crisis in the community and to create avoidance occurrence in the nearest future.
Hon Hadi, Special assistant to gov Dapo Abiodun , insisted that peace building should entails with engagement and building relationship in a more diplomatic, accommodative, sustainable and cost effective peace keeping that will involved deploying security agencies to rescue conflict situation after escalation.
” We can not live in peace if we don’t see ourselves as one family , the Ogun state government have built an enable environment for us to live , farm and trade our product easily, so I enjoined you to always keep that peaceful existence going, we will benefit more if we stay in unity ,peace and harmony” Hadi said .
The DPO of Imala police division, CSP Nurudeeb Baba Hamzat also buttressed the need to adhere to the rules and regulation to strengthen the peaceful coexistence amidst the Farmers, Herders and host communities, he also stressed that information of any distress should be alerted to the security agencies so as to help in rapid solution.
Also the Apeno of Imala who spoked on behalf of the host communities appreciate His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun for determined effort towards securing lives and property along side creating enabling environment for everyone to strive with minimal conflict.
Meanwhile the state Miyeti Allah Chairman Alh Dende Muhammed appreciated the state government for their proactive efforts to agreed with the modalities, that have guaranteed their commitment to improve peaceful coexistence, safety and security across all the settlements in Ogun State,he also urged the committee that safety and security of our society is our collective responsibility.
