The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has kicked the redeployment of controversial Police Chief, Joseph Mbu to Lagos as the AIG in charge of Zone 2, comprising Lagos and Ogun states.
Publicitiy Secretary of the Lagos APC, Mr. Joe Igbokwe warned that Lagos may be the last point of duty for Mbu if he fails to apply decorum in the discharge of his duties.
“Mbu must understand clearly that this is Lagos. Since Lagos was created in 1967, it has been in the hands of progressives. It is not Rivers or Abuja. This is a special state where the best minds live. The is the city of civil societies and the media. We know his antecedents and if he brings his unbecoming behaviour to Lagos, we will retire him from the Police” Igbokwe said.
The controversial Mbu was former AIG Zone 7, Abuja, and also former Commissioner of Police in charge Rivers State; Federal Capital Territory and CP in charge of Mobile Police, MOPOL.
