Clueless Eagles Crash Out of Nations Cup

Defending champions Super Eagles of Nigeria finally crashed out of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations billed for Equitorial Guinea.

Super Eagles SupportersThe Nigerians struggled to play a 2-2 draw with the Bafana-Bafana of South Africa despite the extra five minutes added by the referee.

Bafana-Bafana’s Tokelo Rantie opened scoring in the 42 minutes before adding another goal at 48 minute, while Nigeria’s Sonne Aluko also picked a brace for the Super Eagles scoring at 68 and 72 minutes respectively.

In the other Group A match played on Wednesday, Congo defeated Sudan by a lone goal in the 63 minute courtesy Igor Nganga.
The host team piled pressure on visitng South Africa in the dying minutes of the game, but it was not enough to save the Super Eagles from crashing out of the continental showpiece.
