Celebrity Policeman, Frank Mba Re-deployed to Lagos

Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Frank Mba, who is also former Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police has been redeployed to Lagos State Command.

Frank MbaMba who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police in June is expected to resume his Lagos office as an Area Commander for Area J in Elemoro part of Lagos.

Mba has hence bowed out as the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force.

In a letter of appreciation he sent out this morning, Mr Mba expressed gratitude to the media and the Nigerian people for contributing to his successful tenure. He is expected to hand over to the new Public Relations officer, DCP Emmanuel Ojukwu.

ACP Frank Mba, an alumnus of many distinguished academic institutions, studied Law at the University of Lagos, Akoka and the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.

He was equally at the University of Dundee, Scotland where he obtained a Masters Degree in Law. Besides his core academic trainings, ACP Mba has attended numerous Professional Police Courses in some of the best Law Enforcement Institutions in countries like Botswana, Italy, Israel, USA, amongst others.

A member of the Nigeria Police Contingent to the UN Peace Keeping Mission in Liberia between 2006 and 2007, Frank, in the past two decades has served the Nigeria Police Force in several capacities.
