Popular journalist and publisher of CityPulse Magazine, Ayo Mojoyin on Saturday played host to friends, family and colleagues as he buried his grandmother-in-law, Madam Alice Abosede Bakare (a.k.a MAMA GOLD) and her husband, Pa. Tiamiyu Bakare (Otupa) in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.
While the late Pa. Otupa died in 1981, his wife, Madam Alice was 93years old
According to Mojoyin, nothing less could befit the late madam Bakare who lived an exemplary life for friends, neighbours and family.
He said “My dear grandmother-in-law was an enigma. If you didn’t meet her personally, you may not understand what I’m saying. Thank God she lived beyond the biblical age of 70. She was a blessing”.
Speaking about Pa. Tiamiyu, the OOU-trained journalist said although he didn’t meet the deceased, stories abound of him as a very nice man in the community where he lived.
