Osinbajo Sacks DSS Chief, Daura

Acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has sacked the Director General of the Department of State Security Services (DSS), Lawal Musa Daura.
This was announced by Osinbajo’s media aide, Laolu Akande, via his Twitter handle, @akandeoj.
He published through the social media platform the following words:
“AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.
“Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.”
The tweet was immediately liked by the acting President.
You will recall that the DSS earlier today stormed the premies of the National Assembly, preventing lawmakers and staff of the assembly from gaining entry.
