Highly rated cinematographer, Tunde Kelani has launched an online TV to showcase his movies and treat his fans to quality entertainment.
Mr Kelani will launch the TV today which will be accessed online through: www.tundekelani.tv. The portal already has eight movies and documentaries on display at the homepage, including Oleku, stageplay ‘Yeepa!” episodes one to three, a documentary on Oba Okunade Sijuade, the late Ooni of Ife, “Yoruba, E ronu” and “Yoruba, E fura”.
Mr Kelani said the online TV channel is designed to offer viewers of all ages a refreshing viewing experience of his past and current works and other cultural themed contents from different owners across Africa and the Diaspora.
His words: “It is an attempt to respond to the yearnings of our teeming fans of rich African themed contents on the go. Distributing films or other contents physically are becoming increasingly difficult, revenues are lost on a daily basis and content owners are at the mercy of the menacing activities of pirates.
“ I think it is just natural, expedient and sensible to take contents closer to the consumers on demand and in terms that suit all the parties involved” He added
