Muslim Pilgrims in Lagos Get N30m Refund

Muslim pilgrims who performed the 2017 Hajj with the Lagos State government has been refunded the sum of N30m by the state government. the State Amirul – Hajj, Dr Abdulhakeem Abdullateef who doubles as the Commissioner for Home Affairs explained that the money to be refunded to the hajj pilgrims was in respect of some services which were not rendered to Lagos contingent during last year’s Hajj. Lagos Clamps Down on Gated Streets

The Special Taskforce Committee set up by Lagos State Government on demolition of gated streets has begun enforcement exercise on the removal of gates at both the metropolitan and suburb areas of the State that failed to comply with the government’s directive on Gated Streets regulation.
